At Pacific Lipo, we understand that in today’s world, patient financing has been instrumental in making plastic surgery procedures affordable for a growing number of our patients. We utilize the services of Care Credit and Alphaeon, reputable companies of which the experiences for patients have been positive. In general, payments will be based on the amount of the procedure, and the length of time for repayment. Some patients may require a co-signer in order to obtain the loan. Financial Policy
Our financial policy includes, but is not limited to the following:
Our consultation fee is free. However, if you do not provide 48 hours' notice of cancellation or rescheduling, there will be a $100 charge. This fee is non-refundable for all circumstances and is due at the time of the missed appointment.
A deposit of $1,000.00 is required at the time of scheduling your surgery. Deposits are nonrefundable for all circumstances if requested less than 2 weeks (14 days) from the date of your scheduled surgery. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before surgery. If you cancel or reschedule your surgery for any reason within 2 weeks of your scheduled surgery/procedure, we reserve the right to retain 75% of your surgery fee, or you may be required to pay a $1500 rescheduling fee which is not included in the fees originally quoted.
FORMS OF PAYMENT ACCEPTED: Cashier’s checks, money orders, all major credit/debit cards, cash, and Alphaeon and Care Credit. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS.
The fees quoted are unique to each individual and may not apply to other individuals. The quote will be honored for 1 month from the date of the consultation.
Should future revisional surgery be required or requested, additional charges will be incurred which are not included in the original fees quoted. Your quote includes all pre-and post-operative visits for private pay surgery. However, you may incur additional expenses with your surgery including, but not limited to, pre-operative laboratory work, prescription medications, garments, mammogram, EKG, and pathology. Private pay surgery is not billable to any insurance carrier and billing information is not generated to assist you in collecting from a third party.
Patients who are planning to file disability should be aware that there is a $30 charge to complete these forms and will take 3-5 days to complete. It is the responsibility of the patient to provide those forms to our office for completion. In general, the time off allotted is usually between 1-4 weeks depending on your type of work and the procedure you are having done. We cannot guarantee approval as all disability requests must meet your employer’s qualifications and requirements.
Once the patient is out of surgery, the caregiver is expected to be present for post-operative instructions. If he/she is not present and/or late by over 30 minutes, additional charges will be applied at $250/hour to pay for additional nursing care and room usage.
